  You've heard about the Rainbow River Ranch. Care to see it? Here it is.

  As you can see, the "Ranch" is not really a ranch at all. It contains luxury homes, TOWNHOMES, a "village", a "commercial" area (shopping center) and dozens of new docks on the Rainbow River. While this is a realtor's dream, it is a nightmare for those of us who love the river.

  The "Plan" has not been approved by any regulatory agencies (what an understatement!), and is DEFINITELY SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

  If this abomination is built on the Rainbow River, you can say goodbye to Dunnellon as we know it. And it WILL be built, unless you speak up, and act up, and help stop it. Write letters, contact your representatives (except for the mayor, the city council, and The Water Lady, Senator Argenziano, of course).

  Long after the current corrupt city administration has been rightly judged and is slowly roasting in hell, this ecological blight will still be polluting the Rainbow River, and the aquifer that feeds it.

  As Edmund Burke once said, "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing". The time is now to speak up, if you want to save Dunnellon and her precious Rainbow.
