September 11th, 2006

  In three weeks America will mark the fifth anniversary of the terror attacks of September 11th, 2001. The television and newspapers will regale us with in-depth analysis, so we may gain a ‘better understanding’ of these events. Once again, the survivor’s families will be inundated with video of the horror, as breathless reporters somberly intone the story of their loss and grief.
We can expect the usual “Where Are They Now” stories, of course, with interviews with the orphaned children of the victims.

  “So, Johnny, do you remember anything about the day your Daddy died?”
We can also expect the mandatory stories on the “peaceful” religion of Islam, and how it has been “high-jacked” by these fanatics. We will see the vapid likeness of Ibrahim Hooper of C.A.I.R, pontificating on the need for us infidels to respect his religion and his civil rights.

  We will be told that while our incursion into Afghanistan in pursuit of Al Qaeda was justified, five years later the Taliban are regaining power, with popular support. These same commentators will then posit that the war in Iraq was a terrible mistake, and has contributed to the rise in terrorism worldwide.

  We will be told all of this by some people who have never put on a uniform. They have never fired a shot in anger, or been fired upon. Their sole accomplishment, in most cases, is the procurement of a Journalism degree. They are the lens though which our news is now filtered, and what a myopic lens it is, indeed.

  Katie, Charles, and the rest, are the pathetic remnants of a once-great Fourth Estate, which boasted the likes of Ernie Pyle, Ernest Hemingway and Mike Royco. Their elitist worldview colors everything they do, as they pompously expound on the most important issue ever to face this country- our very survival. At a time when we desperately need the news to inform us of unfolding events, we are subjected to the bleating of these Neo-Socialist dupes and their willing accomplices at the networks.

  How did this happen? How did we go from Ernie Pyle to Katie Couric; from Mike Royco to Charles Gibson?

  To trace this metamorphosis, one can draw a timeline directly from the H.U.A.C. hearings in the Senate in the 50’s. Senator Joseph McCarthy set out to expose Soviet-backed Communists in the Federal Government, the Media, and the Entertainment industry. In recent years, the socialist Fifth Column has succeeded in painting McCarthy as a fanatic, persecuting peaceful ‘progressive’ people in his maniacal lust for power.

  In fact, many of the people who came before the H.U.A.C actually were admitted “card-carrying” communists, were receiving support and financial aid from the Soviet Union, and were determined to destroy our democratic form of government. Regardless of what the revisionists want you to believe, these are the facts. The U.S. State Department was infested with communists, as was the Entertainment industry.

  The outcome of the H.U.A.C. hearings was the famous “Blacklist”. Books, movies and plays have ‘documented’ the terrible anguish that the blacklisted writers, producers and actors had to endure. It was a sad time for American Communism.

  Enter Ed Murrow. The hero of the trench-coat set for his reporting from London during the Blitz, ‘Ol’ Ed smelled the blood in the water and came in for the kill. He vociferously attacked McCarthy as a right-wing fanatic, and defended the ‘progressives’ who had come under scrutiny. Murrow succeeded in derailing the H.U.A.C. and demeaning the facts it had uncovered. McCarthy was forced to withdraw in disgrace.

  It was a great victory for the Fifth Columnists, and they never forgot it. It became the template for every journalism course taught since that time, and it informed the views of most of the reporters in the business today.

  That is why we constantly hear that America is wrong, America is the aggressor, America is to blame. When you hear these things, you must always consider the source. When you see the flag rising up a pole, or hear Taps or the National Anthem played, you get misty, right? These people don’t. They absolutely hate everything this country has stood for since it’s inception. They would never admit to it, of course, but they prove it with their every word.

  When September 11th rolls around, and the talking heads prattle on about blaming America, the President, or our “failed foreign policy”, please remember the truth, as evidenced by the facts.
America was the target of a cowardly surprise attack perpetrated by Muslims, who flew airliners filled with innocent people into buildings, while shouting “Allah is great!” This attack was cheered in every Islamic city in the world, and even in some American cities.

  We are at war with an enemy who is determined to destroy us - period. We are at war with an enemy who worships death, slowly beheads captives with dull knives (and videotapes it), hangs bodies from bridges, uses torture and terror, and mentally resides in the 12th Century.
This enemy gives no quarter. They show no mercy. There is only one way to deal with such an enemy; destroy them before they destroy us.

  This September 11th, let us strengthen our resolve and dedicate ourselves to victory over this medieval foe. Our very survival depends on it.
